Gift of Love Day July 12:

 Sunday, July 12, has been designated as 'A Gift of Love' Day for Susan Davis... Susan is the daughter of Ken & Jerri Davis, has grown up in Glenview, has taught with Joyce Bosse the past two years with the pre-school Sunday School class, and is presently battling melanoma cancer in the liver and spleen. In 2006 Susan lost an eye and surrounding tissue to Cancer and is seeking help from M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. On Sunday, July 12, 2009, we will be receiving a 'love offering' to go towards Susan's expenses (medical/ travel/ hospital). We are encouraging you to prayerfully consider this 'gift of love' over and beyond your regular tithes & offerings.
A Biker Benefit Run for Susan will be held July 11 @ the Cave City Convention Center at 9:00 a.m...Kick Stands up at 11 a.m... for more information on this check with Jason Fields....
 

GLENVIEW 101 Starts In August:

A 6 week Introduction to Glenview Christian Church & What We Believe.This Orientation Class will be held on Sunday Mornings at 9:00 a.m. and will meet in the ADO room downstairs.
'Preacher' Richard will be facilitating this series for all NEW Members of GCC/ those attending presently and wanting to know more about us/ and those who are desiring to become Christians... We are asking you to register for this class by signing the List on Main Bulletin.
 

'CHOICES' in August:

Also COMING IN AUGUST: '"CHOICES!!!!!" ---Wednesday Nights from 6:30-7:15 p.m... All Adults will be offered 'choices' of 6 week Lesson Series......That's right, There will be 3 Studies to select from plus an extra one for those who enjoy singing in a choir/ensemble/praise team... Study Groups Will Be:
'HAVE A NEW KID BY FRIDAY'; 'FAITH'S FOUNDATIONS'; AND 'HOW TO MANAGE YOUR MONEY'.... Just so you know, every adult will have the opportunity to be in All 3 Study Groups during the 18 week session this fall (except for Music group). So you won't miss out on any of the 3 Topics.... Look for more details in weeks to come. Sign ups located on main bulletin board. Classes limited to 25 (max).
 

Grundy September Mission Trip Sign-up:

There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer for the September Grundy Mountain Mission School mission trip. The dates are September 20 thru September 25. See Joe Montgomery with any questions.
