worship
Worship is the expression of our affection and praise unto God for who he is and for the great things he has done. It is proclamation of God's excellent attributes and the acknowledgment of his worthiness of all praise and thanksgiving. Christ says, "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
Here at GCC, we use music, drama, multimedia and other creative arts to communicate biblical truths about life. We aim to engage people's minds and hearts and create services that are compelling and relevant to real life in the 21st Century.
In our services, we use music to worship God, singing songs that express what's on our heart. Worship is our response, individually and as a church, to God's amazing grace. We also believe worship can be a powerful testimony to those who don't know Jesus, as they see Christians genuinely worshipping Him.
Yet worship is much more than music. It involves our whole lives. We worship God as we pursue His character and a closer walk with Him everyday. Our worship on Sunday simply reflects what God is doing in our lives every day of the week!
For more information on our view of worshipping the Lord, please read Psalm 34.
