Glenview Christian Church

Glenview Christian Church is a non-denominational church located in Glasgow, KY.  We are a church committed to using the Bible as the basis for our faith and practices.  Our desire is to make disciples who make disciples by encouraging everyone to take their next best step.


We are proud to be a multi-generational church and place a huge emphasis on ministering to the next generation.  We like to say that GCC is a place where the whole family can belong.  Ultimately we want to help everyone believe in God, belong to God's family and our church, and become a fully committed follower of Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

The Bible is the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

There is ONE God eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.. 

(1 Corinthians 8:6; Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 4:4-6)


Jesus is fully God and fully man.  He was born of a virgin; lived a sinless life; performed many miracles; died on the cross in our place to cover our sins; rose from the dead victoriously; and ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of God. (Matthew 3:17; 1 Peter 1:18-19, 2:21-25; Matthew 1:18-23, 28:1-6; Acts 1:9)


Someone who wanted to follow Jesus in the New Testament followed this process: Hear the Gospel (Romans 10:17), Believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior (Mark 16:16; John 3:15-16), Repent of Your Sins (Acts 2:38, 3:19), Confess Christ (Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9-10), Be Baptized by Immersion (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Matthew 28:19-20; Romans 6:1-8), Devote your life to Jesus (Romans 1:17; 2 Peter 3:18, Revelation 2:10, Acts 2:42).


In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who lives within baptized believers enabling us to live a Godly life.

The resurrection of both the saved and the lost.  The saved to eternal life in heaven and the lost to eternal suffering in hell.  (Matthew 25:31-32; Revelation 20:11-14; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52)
